We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in mechanical design and analysis. You will work on various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept through to completion.
• Conduct research to identify new technologies and their potential applications.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate with project managers to align engineering efforts with project goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a similar engineering role

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

• English: Fluent
