Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an Architect with exceptional design skills and a keen eye for detail. Based in Cape Town, you will manage multiple projects while ensuring our commitment to quality and sustainability is upheld. Your creativity will be key in delivering outstanding architectural solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to accounting principles and standards.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets.
• Review financial reports and identify trends and discrepancies.
• Act as a point of contact for financial inquiries.
• Support management in making informed financial decisions.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance financial systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• CA(SA) or similar certification is preferred

Experience

• 4 years of accounting experience, including financial reporting and compliance

Technical Skills

• Budgeting
• Financial Auditing

• Problem-Solving
• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with managerial accounting: Knowledge of strategic financial planning and cost management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems: Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning software.
