Job Description

The TSDF Technician plays a pivotal role in managing the safe operation of a Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility. You will oversee hazardous waste disposal processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards while collaborating with team members to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of waste treatment equipment.
  • Oversee the segregation and packaging of hazardous waste.
  • Monitor and control treatment processes to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure all waste is stored according to regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare reports and documentation required for regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain open communication with team members regarding operational updates.
  • Participate in safety drills and emergency response training.
  • Assist in the development of operational protocols and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for waste transportation and disposal.
  • Implement improvements based on environmental standards and compliance audits.

Requirements

Education
  • High school or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications in environmental science are advantageous
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in waste management or environmental protection roles
