Job Description

As an Environmental Consultant in Durban, you will work alongside a dedicated team to evaluate the environmental impact of various projects. Your expertise will guide clients in achieving their sustainability goals while adhering to local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess project sites for environmental impact and sustainability compliance.
  • Engage with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders regarding environmental issues.
  • Develop proposals for environmental consultancy services.
  • Monitor project implementation and compliance with environmental management plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and records of decision (RODs).
  • Conduct fieldwork to collect data and assess environmental conditions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or related field
