We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The candidate will play a pivotal role in developing solutions for environmental protection and sustainability. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in environmental science and engineering, with experience in project management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for environmental issues.
• Research and apply for environmental funding and grants.
• Train staff on environmental best practices.
• Oversee waste management initiatives and recycling programs.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management.
• Prepare and submit necessary documents for environmental permits.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in environmental engineering or a related field

Technical Skills

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Environmental Modelling Software

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal skills
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate
• Environmental Professional (EP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
