We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Durban office. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our digital assets, implementing security measures, and responding to cybersecurity threats. This role requires a passion for technology and a proactive approach to risk management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network security protocols.
• Conduct malware analysis and develop countermeasures.
• Provide technical support for cybersecurity tools and processes.
• Facilitate communication regarding security issues with stakeholders.
• Participate in the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Research and recommend advanced security solutions.
• Assess and manage risk across various projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
