As a Registered Nurse at our Port Elizabeth facility, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions.
• Maintain a secure and compliant environment for patients.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge relevant to nursing practice.
• Provide direct care and support to patients across various departments.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Advanced Nursing Degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in a hospital environment

• IV Therapy
• Patient Education

Certifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR): Familiarity with using EHR systems for patient documentation.
• Preceptorship experience: Experience mentoring new nursing staff or students.
