We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon in Johannesburg to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of animals, maintain accurate medical records, and create tailored treatment plans for our furry patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations to determine health status.
• Provide vaccinations and routine preventive care.
• Perform surgeries and post-operative care.
• Work closely with pet owners to educate them about their pets' health.
• Oversee staff and operations during busy periods.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual animals.
• Handle emergency cases appropriately and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary laws and regulations.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Engage in community education and outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Additional certifications (e.g. BSc in Veterinary Science) are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine
