DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. You will focus on automating operations, deploying code, and maintaining our cloud platform while ensuring high reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable cloud architectures using AWS or Azure.
• Integrate monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system health.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support agile practices.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and backup strategies.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise.
• Enhance existing processes to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Relevant certifications or training are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields

Technical Skills

• Cloud Services (AWS/Azure)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Terraform

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
