We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent medical care, diagnosing and treating various health conditions, and promoting patient health and wellness. You will work within a collaborative team environment to deliver comprehensive healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient base.
• Assess and manage chronic and acute illnesses.
• Document patient interactions, treatments, and health outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Engage actively in continuous medical education and training.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine
• Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Emergency Care
• Chronic Disease Management

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certificate in Family Medicine
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Telemedicine: Knowledge in providing healthcare services through telecommunication.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading a medical team or department.
