Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and assess associated risks.
• Determine coverage eligibility and policy terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with agents and clients to gather necessary information for risk assessments.
• Review and analyze loss history and credit reports.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations and industry trends.
• Prepare and present underwriting recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and brokers to facilitate smooth underwriting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in underwriting or insurance.
