Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Port Elizabeth to assist clients in navigating social services and provide emotional support. You will work closely with community organizations to implement programs that address the needs of vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Provide crisis intervention and community support services.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to secure comprehensive care.
• Facilitate communication between clients and support services.
• Document client interactions and follow-up actions accurately and timely.
• Implement programs that promote social justice and community wellbeing.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical social work experience

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
