Job Description

As a Plating Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our plated products. This role requires a strong understanding of plating processes and the ability to analyze test data effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plated metal components for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections throughout the plating process.
• Provide guidance to plating operators regarding quality control procedures.
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformances promptly.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective actions for quality issues.
• Assist in training new team members on inspection techniques.
• Stay informed about changes in standards and technologies related to plating.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in plating inspection or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of plating processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Time management skills
• Ability to work independently

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with calibration tools: Hands-on experience in maintaining and calibrating inspection equipment.
