Job Description

As a Label Printer, you will be crucial in producing high-quality labels for our diverse clientele. You will operate advanced printing machines while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the production process. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and be adaptable in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Run tests to ensure labels are printed correctly before full production.
• Adjust machine settings based on label specifications.
• Assist in training new staff on printing operations.
• Record production data and assist in quality audits.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Vocational training in printing technology is an advantage

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience with label printing equipment and software

Technical Skills

• Barcode labeling software
• Printing equipment (label printers, scanners)

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ISO quality management systems: Understanding of ISO standards for quality assurance in printing.
• Experience with quality control processes: Background in maintaining high-quality standards in production.
