We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical design and project management. You will be responsible for developing innovative solutions and overseeing various engineering projects.

• Review technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Support project managers in the delivery of project objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in a mechanical engineering role with project leadership experience.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in renewable energy projects: Background in mechanical engineering related to renewable energy systems.
