Job Description

We're looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our team in Durban. You will assist customers with purchases, manage inventory, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Assist customers with product selections and provide accurate product information.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to provide customers with accurate information.
• Support visual merchandising efforts to optimize store presentation.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
• Identify and communicate any customer feedback or potential issues to the management.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate required
• Additional qualifications in sales or marketing are advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in retail or sales environment

Technical Skills

• Point of Sale (POS) Systems
• Inventory Management Tools

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages relevant to customer base.
