Job Description

Join our dynamic architecture team in Johannesburg as we embark on exciting new projects. We are looking for an Architect who is innovative and detail-oriented. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from conceptualization to implementation, while working closely with clients and stakeholders to meet their vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and plans tailored to client specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site inspections to assess project suitability.
• Create detailed drawings and models using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other professionals to ensure project compliance.
• Supervise construction activities to monitor compliance with design specifications.
• Review and approve work completed by contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure all designs are sustainable and adhere to environmental regulations.
• Provide 3D renders and visualizations to assist clients in understanding designs.
• Attend client meetings to discuss project progress and respond to feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and innovations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Creative Thinking
• Communication
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Registered Architect (SACAP)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
