Job Description

As a Waistband Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of garment production. Your responsibilities will include setting and maintaining the waistband on various garments while collaborating with other production staff.

Responsibilities

• Attach waistbands to garments through machine settings.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to streamline processes.
• Maintain equipment used for waistband setting to ensure efficient operation.
• Report any production issues to management in a timely manner.
• Contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Assist in training new staff members when required.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Further technical training or certification in textile manufacturing is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience in waistband setting is preferred, but not essential

Languages

• English: Fluent
