Job Description

As an Accountant at our firm, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, assist with tax compliance, and implement effective financial processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Support budget preparation and forecasting for various departments.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist in compiling reports for management and stakeholders.
• Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies.
• Develop effective financial models for various projects.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
• Handle correspondence with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA/CA(SA) qualification is beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Technical Skills

• Accounting Software (e.g., Pastel, SAP)
• Financial Analysis

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
