We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee our supply chain operations in Port Elizabeth. This role involves managing logistics processes from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely transportation and accurate inventory management. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Develop reports to analyze logistics performance and areas for improvement.
• Support audits and conduct assessments of logistics operations.
• Train new staff on logistics processes and best practices.
• Suggest process improvements and innovative solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Additional certifications in Logistics is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles

Technical Skills

• Transport Management Systems (TMS)
• Inventory Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Freight Negotiations: Ability to negotiate freight costs with carriers.
• Proficient in EDI Systems: Experience with Electronic Data Interchange for shipment processing.
