We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud infrastructure, development, and deployment services, with a particular emphasis on AWS and Azure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and facilitate cloud adoption strategies across the organization.
• Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors.
• Optimize costs by identifying unused resources and savings opportunities.
• Lead projects that transition to modern cloud solutions.
• Ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery of cloud applications.
• Participate in incident response and support procedures for cloud services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience in cloud technologies and solutions

Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform
• Ansible

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with microservices architecture: Understanding of deploying and managing microservices in the cloud.
