As an Architect at Design Innovations South Africa, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the built environment. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design buildings that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also sustainable. The successful candidate will need to manage their own projects, liaising with clients and local authorities while ensuring adherence to all architectural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sketch initial design concepts for various projects.
• Prepare detailed layout designs using CAD software.
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Ensure architectural integrity and safety in designs.
• Develop proposals and project presentations.
• Collect and analyze data for design references.
• Provide technical advice to junior architects and interns.
• Review quantitative and qualitative project deliverables.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Facilitate workshops and design charrettes with clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• MArch in Architecture preferred

Experience

• 3+ years working in architectural firms

Technical Skills

• Revit
• 3D Visualization

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Professional Architect Certification
• BIM Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
