Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, excellent patient care skills, and a love for animals. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing routine surgeries, and advising pet owners on best practices for animal care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency veterinary services.
  • Educate pet owners on preventive healthcare and proper pet care.
  • Consult with specialists for advanced medical issues.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Mentor junior staff and interns within the practice.
  • Conduct day-to-day operations in the clinic efficiently.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as billing and insurance claims as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
  • Additional certification in anesthesia or emergency care is a plus.
Experience
  • At least 3 years of clinical veterinary experience
