Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team at XYZ Day Care Center. In this role, you will support and assist in the care of children, ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well-being. Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and supportive environment for all children.
• Implement developmental and educational programs suitable for the age group.
• Monitor children's behaviours and intervene when necessary to ensure a positive experience.
• Encourage social skills and interactions among children.
• Assist in planning and implementing indoor and outdoor activities.
• Work closely with other staff members to coordinate daily activities and events.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, activities, and developmental milestones.
• Continuously assess and respond to children's needs, ensuring their well-being.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
• Childcare or Early Childhood Development qualification is advantageous

Experience

• Prior experience in a daycare or early childhood development setting is preferred.

• English: Fluent
