Job Description

As an Engineering Technician, you will play a significant role in the design, development, and testing of engineering structures. We expect you to bring your technical proficiency to our team while driving project timelines and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain engineering projects under supervision.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality of work.
• Collaborate with engineers on development projects.
• Evaluate and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation and records.
• Conduct research to inform design improvements.
• Liaise with suppliers for materials and equipment.
• Participate in safety audits and compliance inspections.
• Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for projects.
• Provide input for quality assurance procedures.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Engineering or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in an engineering technician role
