Job Description

As an IT Support Technician in Cape Town, you will provide expert support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues faced by our clients. You will play a critical role in maintaining IT systems and ensuring smooth operations across the organization. The ideal candidate should be adept at resolving technical problems promptly and efficiently while communicating effectively with users.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Monitor systems for issues and proactively address potential problems.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining network security protocols.
  • Utilize remote desktop applications for effective user support.
  • Create and update user guides and IT documentation.
  • Work with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve hardware failures.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Implement and promote best practices in IT security.
  • Manage and coordinate IT procurement processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support
