As a Metal Roofer, you will play a vital role in the installation and repair of metal roofing systems. Your expertise in roofing materials and techniques will be essential for ensuring high-quality workmanship on a variety of projects. Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate measurements and cuts of roofing materials for optimal fit.
• Install metal roofing sheets, flashings, and trims based on the specifications provided.
• Review and interpret blueprints and project plans effectively.
• Apply sealing techniques to prevent leaks and ensure long-term durability.
• Train and supervise apprentices and new recruits in roofing practices.
• Identify potential safety risks on site and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct quality checks of completed work and rectify any issues.
• Keep an inventory of materials and report additional needs to management.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical qualification in Construction or Roofing

Experience

• 3+ years of experience with metal roofing systems

Technical Skills

• Safety compliance

Certifications

• Construction Safety Course Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
