Job Description

As a Transportation Planner at Transport Solutions Group, you will be responsible for creating and implementing transportation plans to improve mobility and reduce congestion in Port Elizabeth. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, analyzing transportation data, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on best practices in transportation planning.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with public agencies and organizations.
  • Assess the impact of transportation initiatives on local communities.
  • Create detailed budgets for transportation projects.
  • Ensure public participation in the transportation planning process.
  • Review and approve transportation-related proposals and studies.
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements related to transportation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban or Regional Planning
  • Master's degree in related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public transportation planning
