Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. You will be responsible for the grooming of dogs and cats, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while providing them with a stylish look.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services with comfort and care for all types of pets.
• Educate pet owners on the importance of regular grooming and maintenance.
• Respond to and resolve any customer complaints with professionalism.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Maintain a cheerful and positive attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist in the overall cleanliness and organization of the grooming salon.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Animal Care or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of grooming experience preferred

Certifications

• Certified Professional Groomer (CPG)

Languages

• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with hand-stripping techniques: Hands-on experience with hand-stripping techniques for certain breeds.
