Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and driving efficiency across our production lines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions that align with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
  • Standardize processes across production lines to ensure consistency.
  • Collaborate with finance on budget planning for manufacturing projects.
  • Assess and improve the environmental impact of manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on project progress.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Management degree is preferred

  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
