Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Logistics Strategy Planner to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies that streamline processes and improve efficiency across our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen analytical mind and solid experience in logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute strategic logistics initiatives to streamline operations.
  • Leverage analytics to forecast logistics needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Foster relationships with key suppliers to enhance logistical capabilities.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance inventory and distribution management.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations throughout logistics operations.
  • Monitor shipments and manage logistics expenses related to transport.
  • Prepare comprehensive logistics reports for senior management.
  • Manage logistics projects from inception to completion.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements in logistics.
  • Participate in strategy meetings and contribute to logistics planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a logistics planning role
