Job Description

As a Freelance News Journalist, you'll report on a wide range of topics, from local events to in-depth features. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong writing skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be expected to generate story ideas and pitch them to our editorial team.

Responsibilities

  • Write and submit articles that require minimal editing.
  • Develop engaging headlines and summaries for online articles.
  • Provide insights into audience feedback to improve content strategy.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in journalism technology.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely publication of articles.
  • Assist in the production of online and broadcast content as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Media Studies or Communications
Experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in news journalism
