Job Description

The Metal Reed Tuner will be responsible for tuning and maintaining metal reeds used in various musical instruments, ensuring they produce the desired pitch, tone and quality of sound.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate reeds for durability and performance.
• Educate clients about proper reed care and maintenance.
• Document all tuning and repair activities for quality control.
• Participate in team meetings to suggest improvements in processes.

Requirements

Education

• Post-secondary education in music technology or instrument repair

Experience

• Experience working with high-profile musicians or music groups

Certifications

• Advanced Reed Repair Certification

Languages
