Job Description

We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will streamline our operations, enhance our cloud infrastructure, and optimize continuous integration and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in both development and operations, and be passionate about using automation to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure uptime.
• Partner with development teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve processes.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
• Review system performance and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Lead DevOps projects and initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between development and operations teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role
