Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Architect who is passionate about creating sustainable and innovative designs. You will have the opportunity to lead projects from conceptual design through to completion, working with an experienced team in a collaborative environment that champions creativity and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver architectural plans in compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create detailed drawings and specifications for building projects.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design.
  • Present design proposals to clients and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
  • Research and integrate sustainable design practices into architectural projects.
  • Stay updated with architectural trends, best practices, and technology advancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in architectural design
Technical Skills
  • AutoCAD
  • SketchUp
  • Adobe Creative Suite
Soft Skills
  • Communication
  • Problem-solving
Certifications
  • Registered Architect
  • LEED Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with Revit: Understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Revit.
  • Familiarity with local zoning and building codes: Knowledge of the regulatory environment in South Africa.
