Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our Durban office. You will manage tax filings, represent clients in audits, and provide strategic tax planning services. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ financial records to prepare appropriate tax returns.
• Provide sound tax advice, including estate and trust matters.
• Assist clients with personal and corporate tax inquiries.
• Design and implement tax saving strategies for clients.
• Work closely with auditors during audits.
• Ensure timely completion of tax filings.
• Collaborate with other departments for integrated problem solving.
• Monitor client communication and effectively respond to enquiries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Honours or elevated qualification is preferable

Experience

• 4+ years in tax consulting or related areas

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent
