We are seeking a skilled Actuary to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in risk assessment and management, developing models to predict future financial outcomes while guiding our clients through their insurance needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analyses of financial data to support business decisions.
• Determine pricing structures based on risk assessments and market conditions.
• Work closely with IT to enhance data collection and analysis capabilities.
• Develop and maintain documentation of actuarial methodologies and assumptions.
• Participate in team meetings to strategize on risk mitigation and management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Post-graduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in actuarial consulting or insurance sectors
