Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Durban. The hired engineer will work closely with production teams to identify inefficiencies and suggest effective solutions, using statistical analysis and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analyses of production processes to identify bottlenecks.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques to streamline operations.
• Monitor performance metrics and establish benchmarks for efficiency.
• Work with quality assurance to resolve production discrepancies.
• Research and recommend new technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Prepare and present reports detailing performance improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality materials are utilized.
• Assist in the development of operational budgets and forecasts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
