Job Description

As a Healthcare Administrator in Durban, your role will focus on streamlining healthcare processes, managing administrative tasks, and working closely with healthcare professionals to improve service delivery and patient outcomes while ensuring all operations meet compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office medical supplies and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Enhance patient flow processes to reduce wait times and increase satisfaction.
  • Work with IT teams to optimize patient management software systems.
  • Monitor staff performance and address any personnel issues promptly.
  • Evaluate new technologies to improve patient interactions and operational procedures.
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports to support strategic planning.
  • Conduct staff training sessions on compliance, safety and administrative procedures.
  • Implement systems to track and utilize patient feedback for service improvement.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with local healthcare providers to improve services.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop outreach programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Services Management or related field
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare management or administration
