Job Description

The Insurance Underwriter will assess and analyze insurance applications, evaluate risks, and determine coverage terms for clients, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and make recommendations for coverage options.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and company departments.
  • Evaluate ongoing risk exposure in existing policies.
  • Support sales and marketing teams with underwriting insights.
  • Maintain accurate records of underwriting activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Postgraduate qualifications in finance or risk management are advantageous.
Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in the insurance sector, preferably in underwriting.
