Responsibilities

• Administer grooming services, including bathing, brushing, and styling.
• Evaluate pets' behavior and manage any special needs or concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Build strong relationships with pet owners to foster loyalty.
• Document services provided and any special instructions from owners.
• Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Grooming certification or equivalent experience

Experience

• 3+ years of grooming experience with diverse breeds

Technical Skills

• Styling and Trimming
• Handling Skills

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Empathy

Certifications

• National Dog Groomers Association Certification
• Canine Behavior Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Grooming competition experience: Participation in grooming competitions is a plus.
• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is advantageous.
