Responsibilities

• Examine patients, take x-rays, and diagnose dental issues.
• Administer anesthesia and perform dental surgeries as needed.
• Advise patients on oral health and preventive care practices.
• Restorative and cosmetic dentistry procedures for aesthetic improvements.
• Work closely with a dental team to create a patient-centered environment.
• Participate in continuous education and training sessions to enhance skills.
• Manage appointment schedules and patient follow-ups.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in dentistry is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental practice

• Clinical Dentistry

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
• CPR and First Aid Certification
