Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to diagnose health issues and provide appropriate care.
  • Perform surgeries and manage anesthesia during procedures.
  • Advise owners on proper animal care and health management.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results.
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and specialists for complex cases.
  • Participate in the education of veterinary students and interns.
  • Contribute to clinic policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
  • Actively participate in community and awareness programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Specialization in surgery or internal medicine preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting
