Job Description

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of engineering principles and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of civil infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Manage project teams and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Ensure project compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Prepare project documentation for approvals and permits.
• Monitor construction progress and provide solutions for challenges.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate materials, methods, and technologies for continuous improvement.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects.
• Promote sustainability and efficiency in all engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional registration as a civil engineer is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects
