Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic team in East London. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders for financial audits.
• Support strategic planning through financial insights.
• Manage payroll and related financial processes.
• Conduct trend analysis to support business decisions.
• Review and recommend improvements in financial processes.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.
• Prepare reports for management that summarize the company’s financial position.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Further qualifications in management accounting are advantageous.

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role, with knowledge of local accounting practices.
