Job Description

The Equity Research Manager is responsible for leading a team of analysts, conducting in-depth market analysis, and providing actionable insights for investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial modeling and a strong understanding of market trends.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the equity research process from inception to completion.
  • Evaluate financial reports, market data, and business trends.
  • Design financial models to project company performance and profitability.
  • Prepare detailed reports providing actionable insights for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and analysts.
  • Conduct training sessions for the research team on best practices.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress and insights.
  • Contribute to the creation of internal research standards and guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Economics, or a related field
  • MBA or CFA certification is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years in investment banking or equity research roles
