Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety management system and ensure compliance with local legislation.
• Provide expert advice regarding hazardous materials handling and storage.
• Assist in the development of safety training materials.
• Lead safety meetings and safety drills.
• Support the emergency response team in preparedness training.
• Manage safety-related documentation and records.
• Assist in the implementation of new safety technologies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Safety Management is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical safety or regulatory compliance
