Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Underwriter to assess and manage risks associated with insurance policies. The ideal candidate will evaluate applications, conduct assessments, and determine coverage options that suit clients' needs while adhering to regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' insurance needs and develop customized options.
• Conduct risk assessments and suggest appropriate coverage levels.
• Work closely with external brokers and stakeholders.
• Review quotes and negotiate terms with clients.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations.
• Collect necessary documents from applicants for completing assessments.
• Coordinate with actuarial teams for accurate pricing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting with a focus on commercial lines

Languages

• English: Fluent
