We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute mechanical system designs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones.
• Oversee the testing process for mechanical systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot design issues.
• Prepare reports on project status and performance.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior engineers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed during engineering activities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and expectations.
• Implement best practices in design and testing processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles
