We are on the hunt for a talented Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud technologies and will play a key role in designing scalable and secure cloud infrastructures for various clients, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture projects from concept to deployment.
• Create and maintain cloud infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
• Ensure best practices in cost management and optimization.
• Collaborate with vendors to integrate third-party cloud services.
• Review and refine current cloud operations for efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions with teams.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior cloud engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Cloud Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years experience in cloud solutions architecture

Technical Skills

• GCP
• Node.js

Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
